1. Who we are
Teczon Labs ("we", "us") is a software company based at 26 Raza Saeed Road, Bhabra Block M, Gulberg III, Lahore, Pakistan. We are the controller of the personal data described here. Contact us about privacy at iqbal@teczonlabs.com.
2. What we collect and why
Website visitors.
- Analytics (only if you accept cookies): pages viewed, approximate location (city/country), device and browser type, how you arrived, and interactions such as form submissions or email-link clicks, via Google Analytics 4. Lawful basis: your consent. If you reject cookies, Google Analytics receives only cookieless signals with no identifiers (Google Consent Mode).
- Server logs: IP address and request details kept by our host for security and to keep the site running. Lawful basis: legitimate interests (security).
People who contact us or subscribe.
- Contact form: name, email, company, phone (optional), budget/timeline and your message, used to reply and discuss a possible project. Lawful basis: steps prior to a contract / legitimate interests.
- Newsletter: your email address, used to send articles you asked for. Lawful basis: consent. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
Business contacts we reach out to.
- We may contact people in relevant professional roles (for example, heads of customer service) about services related to their job. We use your name, job title, employer, work email address and public professional profile information, obtained from business-data providers (such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo.io, Instantly and Prospeo) or from your company's public website.
- Lawful basis: legitimate interests in offering relevant B2B services. We send only to corporate addresses, keep messages short and relevant to your role, and every message lets you opt out with a one-word reply.
- If you opt out, we stop contacting you and keep only the minimum needed (your email address on a suppression list) so we don't contact you again.
- We do not cold-email people in Germany, the Netherlands, the UAE or Saudi Arabia.
3. Cookies
We use analytics cookies (Google Analytics, names starting with _ga, kept up to 2 years) only after you click "Accept". We store your choice in your browser's local storage (tz_consent). We use no advertising cookies. You can change your choice at any time:
4. Who we share data with
We use these service providers (processors), under contracts that restrict their use of your data:
- Vercel (website hosting) and Prisma Data Platform (database for form and newsletter data).
- Amazon Web Services SES (sending form confirmations) and Google Workspace (our email).
- Google Analytics (website analytics, with consent).
- Salesforce (our CRM) and our outreach and data tools listed in section 2.
We do not sell personal data.
5. International transfers
We are based in Pakistan, and our team accesses data from there. Some of our providers process data in the United States and other countries. Where UK or EU data is transferred, we rely on the providers' Standard Contractual Clauses / UK International Data Transfer Addendum or the EU-US and UK-US Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified.
6. How long we keep it
- Analytics: up to 14 months (Google Analytics retention setting).
- Contact enquiries and business-contact records: up to 24 months after our last interaction, then deleted.
- Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.
- Suppression (opt-out) list: kept so we can honour your request.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example UK GDPR, EU GDPR or US state privacy laws), you can ask to access, correct or delete your data, object to processing based on legitimate interests (including direct marketing, which we will always honour), restrict processing, receive a copy, or withdraw consent at any time. Email iqbal@teczonlabs.com. We reply within one month. You can also complain to your data-protection authority; in the UK this is the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
8. Security
Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS), access is limited to people who need it, and our providers maintain industry-standard security certifications.
9. Changes
We will update this page when our practices change and show the date at the top.
